Good value for annual plan

I was looking for a CRM that wouldn't break the bank for my small team. Close offered 15% off for annual billing, which was a nice saving. The 14-day free trial really helped me make sure it was the right fit before committing. So far, the Lead and Opportunity Management CRM has been very useful. Definitely felt worth the money spent.

Pretty good for managing leads

So, I decided to give Close a shot for my small business's sales stuff. It's actually pretty good! The Lead and Opportunity Management CRM is easy to figure out. I also really like the Built-in Email Sequences; they save me a ton of time. Setup was a breeze, just signed up online and started using it right away. No weird tech issues or anything. It just works, you know? Happy with it.

Consistent performance, reliable

This isn't my first time using Close. I've been a customer for a couple of years now, and they're consistently reliable. This time, I upgraded our plan to include the Predictive Dialer. The transition was seamless, just like my previous experience. Their Sales Automation features continue to be a core part of our workflow, and the Zoom Integration works flawlessly. That consistency is why I keep coming back; it's a dependable platform for our sales operations.

Comprehensive features, smooth experience

I signed up for the 14-day free trial first to check out the features, then switched to an annual Professional plan. The ordering process was straightforward online. Within minutes, I had access. The Mobile CRM App is surprisingly robust, letting me manage leads on the go. The Sales Reporting and Analytics are detailed and easy to understand. I used the in-app chat for a question about Zapier Integration, and the support person was helpful. The Call Recording feature is also a big plus for coaching. Everything from initial sign-up to daily use has been pretty smooth; it's a powerful tool that does what it promises.

Solid CRM, minor setup hiccup

Overall, Close is a really solid CRM for our sales team. The built-in Power Dialer works great, and the Email Sequences have saved us a lot of time. Delivery was instant since it's software. Customer support was responsive when I had a question about setting up Custom Fields, though it took a bit to find the right guide. Good value for what it offers, but the initial setup could be a bit more intuitive for new users.

Is it true they offer pretty big discounts for startups? My company is still super new.

J Julia G. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they have a startup program. I've heard of some pretty sweet deals, even up to 90% for early-stage companies. Worth checking out for sure.

My friend got a huge discount for their startup, but you have to apply for it. It's not automatic, but if you qualify, it can save you a ton of money. Don't expect it to pop up on checkout though.

Thinking of trying Close for my small team, but how easy is it to cancel if it's not a good fit? Don't want to get stuck in a long contract.

J James Carter 1 month ago
From what I remember, you can just cancel your subscription through your account settings. I think it's pretty straightforward, no hoops to jump through.

Yeah, I canceled my trial last year without any issues. They didn't even try to upsell me or anything, just a simple click and done. No long-term commitment if you're on monthly, and even annual you can just not renew.

i'm looking at the pricing and see there's a free trial. is it a full-featured trial or are some things locked away?

L Leah J. 1 month ago
It's a pretty full trial, 14 days. You get to play around with most of the important stuff. Good way to see if it fits.

I used the free trial a while back and it felt like I had access to everything I needed to really test it out, especially the power dialer and email sequences. Definitely enough to know if it's right for your team.

Hey, anyone know if Close is actually better than HubSpot for a startup? HubSpot seems to have a lot, but Close's calling features look cool.

J Justin Anderson 2 weeks ago
For a startup, Close might actually be better. HubSpot can be overkill and really pricey when you're just starting out. Close is more focused on sales teams, especially if you do a lot of outbound calls.

It really depends on what you need. If your main thing is calling and closing deals, Close's built-in dialer and email sequences are super strong. HubSpot is more all-in-one marketing and sales, so if you need a huge marketing suite, maybe HubSpot. But for pure sales efficiency, Close is a solid contender.

thinking of switching from monthly to annual billing to save some cash. is the 15% discount applied automatically?

E Eric S. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, if you switch to annual billing, the discount just gets applied automatically at checkout. No promo code needed.

It's automatic when you choose the annual plan. That's how I got my discount. Pretty standard, nothing tricky about it.
